Titanium carbid melting points are 3140 and Tirium carbide boiling points are 4820. Hardness 9-10. Water insoluble, aqua regia soluble in nitric Acid and water insoluble. It can react with pure oxygen at 1150 and is therefore stable when lower than 800. Also used for the production of cemented carbide.
